Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal revealed on X that the company has added a new feature that lets customers see how many live orders are available within the app. The quantity of orders placed across India is now visible to users. After a user places an order, the quantity of orders will be shown.
“You can now see the LIVE order count on for the day, right after you place your order. I just placed an order at around 11am, and the count was already over 250,000.Have fun!” posted Goyal on X.

Zomato introduced their “pure veg fleet” to its users in March. Restaurants offering just vegetarian fare were included in the “pure veg fleet”; non-vegetarian fare was excluded. But due to backlash, the firm was forced to rename this option as “veg only” and remove the adjective “pure.”
In April, Goyal in an X (formerly known as Twitter) post launched “large order fleet” for orders catering up to 50 people.
About Zomato
Deepinder Goyal and Pankaj Chaddah launched the food delivery service in Gurgaon in 2008. At the moment, the website offers evaluations of eateries, details on menu items, and the ability to get food delivered anywhere in India. Among other meal delivery applications, Bangalore-based Swiggy is one of its main rivals.
The food delivery service recently acknowledged talks with Paytm on a potential acquisition of Paytm’s movie and ticketing businesses in a regulatory filing. The corporation did note, however, that no legally binding decisions have been made as of yet without the Board’s permission and disclosures made in compliance with applicable laws.
