According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Aadujeevitham raked in a staggering Rs 7.45 crore across all languages in India on its premiere Thursday. The Malayalam version alone amassed Rs 6.50 crore, while contributions from the Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi versions added another Rs 1 crore to the film’s monumental first-day earnings. With an estimated all-India gross collection surpassing Rs 9 crore (official numbers pending), Aadujeevitham has secured one of the most formidable starts for a Malayalam film in the country.
In Kerala, the film’s net opening day collections have soared, marking one of the highest debuts in the state’s cinematic history. This achievement is notably five times greater than Tovino Thomas’ 2018 and nearly double that of Manjummel Boys, the current highest-grossing Malayalam film with a worldwide gross of Rs 212 crore.
While the official figures for Aadujeevitham’s opening day collections are yet to be released, early estimates suggest it may surpass the opening day records of Mohanlal’s Odiyan, which previously stood at approximately Rs 7.10 crore net. Globally, Aadujeevitham’s day one collections are projected to reach an impressive range of Rs 14-15 crore.
