BJP released its first list of 195 candidates for the Lok Sabha elections on Saturday, March 2.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released the first list of 195 candidates for the Lok Sabha elections.
In this list of BJP, 28 women, 47 youth candidates, 27 SC, 18 Scheduled Tribe and 57 Backward Class candidates have been given tickets.
In this list, the party has announced 51 candidates from Uttar Pradesh. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will contest from Varanasi for the third time while Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will contest from Lucknow.
The list includes 34 Union ministers and ministers of state (MoS) and two former chief ministers.
The party has made preparations to send former MP CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan to the Lok Sabha. He has been made the candidate from Vidisha.
However, there are many big names of BJP whose party has canceled the ticket from their current seat and has made someone else a candidate for their seat.
Introducing candidates for Capital City
First of all seeing candidature about Delhi the national capital region, The party has announced candidates for 5 out of 7 seats here.
On these 5 seats, only Manoj Tiwari from North Delhi has been able to save his ticket. The party has fielded new candidates on the remaining 4 seats.
Harsh Vardhan’s ticket was canceled from Chandni Chowk and Praveen Khandelwal was fielded from there as a news presentator of BJP.
Sushma Swaraj’s daughter Bansuri Swaraj has been made the candidate by cutting the ticket of Meenakshi Lekhi from New Delhi region.
Kamaljit Sehrawat is in the fray in place of Pravesh Verma from West Delhi.
Ramveer Bidhuri has been fielded from South Delhi by replacing Ramesh Bidhuri.
MP Sadhvi Pragya Thakur, who was in news for her controversial statements, has not got the ticket from Bhopal this time. In his place, the party has made Alok Sharma its candidate.
All eyes of BJP on UP
BJP has re-elected many leaders in UP and once again expressed confidence in them and gave them tickets.
Among them, former Union Minister Mahesh Sharma, actress Hema Malini, Ravi Kishan, Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirahua, Union Minister Smriti Irani, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti are big faces who have been given tickets again.
Smriti Irani had contested elections from Amethi in 2019 and defeated former Congress President Rahul Gandhi. This time also he has been given ticket from the same place.
On the other hand, Hema Malini has once again been given ticket from Mathura. Dinesh Lal Nirahua, a well-known face of Bhojpuri cinema, had reached the Lok Sabha after winning the Azamgarh by-election, and has been given the ticket from here again. Azamgarh has been the stronghold of Samajwadi Party.
On the other hand, Ravi Kishan will once again be fielded from Gorakhpur. Ravi Kishan had joined BJP in the last elections in 2017. He was given ticket by BJP from Gorakhpur in 2019 and he defeated his opponent by more than three lakh votes.
From Uttrakhand, Rajasthan & Gujarat
These also include three seats of Uttarakhand. BJP has announced candidates from Nainital, Almora and Tehri.
These include Ajay Bhatt from Nainital, Ajay Tamta from Almora and Mala Rajya Lakshmi Shah from Tehri.
There are five Lok Sabha seats in Uttarakhand. Now only two seats are left to announce candidates.
For the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Gujarat on Saturday, revealing names for 15 out of 26 seats in the state.
Notably, the list includes Union ministers Mansukh Mandaviya and Parshottam Rupala, while dropping five sitting MPs.
Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, long associated with the BJP, is set to make his electoral debut in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
BJP has released the first list of candidates for 15 out of 25 seats in Rajasthan for the Lok Sabha elections.
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will contest from Kota, while Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav has been given the ticket from Alwar.
BJP has canceled tickets of 5 MPs. Two leaders from Congress have also been fielded in the elections. Vasundhara’s son Dushyant Singh will contest the Lok Sabha elections for the fifth time from Jhalawar.
Shocking Names from BJP
The party has fielded Bhojpuri star Pawan Singh from Asansol, Bengal. He may face TMC’s Shatrughan Sinha. Apart from this, defying all the speculations, Hema Malini has once again got the Lotus ticket from Mathura.
The exciting contest will be held in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala from where the party has fielded Union Minister Rajeev Chandrashekhar.
Here, Congress veteran Shashi Tharoor will be in front of him. Apart from this, Anil Antony will contest from Pathanamthitta seat of Kerala.
Single Muslim Community Candidate from BJP

Abdul Salam hails from Tirur, Kerala. According to his LinkedIn profile, till 2018, he had published various research papers and review articles. Apart from such high portfolio and educational background written books in Biological Sciences.
He joined the BJP in 2019.In the 2021 Kerala assembly elections, he contested from the 135 Nemom constituency.
Earlier today, BJP MP Jayant Sinha and Gautam Gambhir had bowed out from contesting the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. While the former cited the need to focus his efforts on combating global climate change in Bharat and around the world, the latter cited upcoming cricket commitments.
