The platform has gone through several changes since Twitter was rebranded as X. The platform recently faced an investigation by the European Union (EU). However, in the meantime Elon Musk has introduced several changes. One of the most significant changes is the fee reduction of ‘gold tick’ feature to facilitate the financing of business entities.
A few days ago, Musk decided that the valuable blue checkmark, signifying influence or reputation, would be accessible only to those who subscribe to Twitter Blue tick and contribute financially to the platform. For businesses on the other hand, a unique verification system was introduced, awarding them a yellowish gold tick at a hefty price. whose annual fee was USD 12,000. On January 3, ‘X’ has announced a new organization plan to slash this high price. Keep an eye on this article to know the plan.
Musk introduces Affordable organization plan
X Verified recently announced a new basic subscription level for businesses to verify on the platform. Known as the initial level of verified organizations, it is now priced at USD 200 per month. Also it’s available at USD 2,000 per year which saves USD 10,000 over the previous plan price.
In a tweet, X Verified noted that there is now a new basic subscription tier for businesses that want to be verified on the platform.
The tweet added that this tier was “designed for small businesses.” According to the tweet, customers will receive ad credits and priority support to enable rapid growth in X.
Amount for Indian Users
For Indian users, the new plan is available at Rs 16,670 per month or Rs 1,68,000 per year. In comparison to the older plan, the Full Access plan with additional benefits costs Rs 82,300 per month.
How will it help Business accounts
The platform, which is always at the top of tech news, claims that it is very affordable and designed to accommodate all the needs of small-sized companies. With this new basic level, verified companies will get several benefits, like Gold Checkmark, priority access, and even benefits through the likes of Premium+.
Later recruitment opportunities will be maximized with AI chatbot Grok and full access to features like LinkedIn. To reach new levels, gold ticks in any business can ensure that business accounts stand out clearly in a crowd.
Likewise, organizations will receive affiliation support and then a double boost. The company is also launching a limited-time offer of $1000 in ad credits, where users can buy ads on X.
Another old features is back
Apart from the new plan launch, the other news is that an old feature has now made a comeback on the X platform. Last year, Elon Musk announced his decision to remove the headline from article links. However, a recent report by The Verge says that titles are now back on X, but they won’t appear in separate white boxes like in the old days, but rather as an overlay.
