Britain has already started the first AI summit(Artificial intelligence summit). It has been going on for two days. It has begun on Wednesday(1st November) to make an alertness regarding the risks and misuse of AI tools, which is led by UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.

China’s Vice Minister of Science and Technology, Wu Zhaohui, stated at the opening session of the two-day summit that Beijing was ready to increase cooperation on AI safety to build an international governance framework.
•China is a main participant country in the summit for a responsibility in developing AI . But some British lawmakers havequestioned whether Beijing and many European capitals
should have a low level of trust on China’s inclusion in technology. Sunak replied . “I know there are some who will say they should have been excluded. But there can be no serious strategy for A.I. without at least trying to engage all of the world’s leading A.I. powers.”

• U.S. President Joe Biden gave an assurance that United state would launch a U.S. AI Safety Institute.
•US Vice President Kamala Harris urged the UK and other countries to step up their efforts Harris summoned for immediate global action to address the entire spectrum of AI menace including large-scale cyber attacks. Addressing the ‘AI Safety Summit 2023’,Rajeev Chandrasekhar said that India has maintained that international collaborations which is very important. He emphasised that India sees AI as “the next big opportunity.”
He also added , “We are extremely clear in our minds on mitigation on what AI and indeed any emerging technology can and will represent, a prism of openness, safety, trust and accountability”.
•British PM Sunak and Elon Musk will come together to talk regarding the risks of artificial intelligence. The full conversation between the duo will be held on Musk-owned ‘X’ platform after the AI safety summit on Thursday( 2nd November). It needs to be said in context that Musk founded his own artificial intelligence company called ‘xAI’.
Musk defined AI as “one of the biggest threats to humanity”, Musk said: “I mean, for the first time, we have a situation where there’s something that is going to be far smarter than the smartest human. So, you know, we’re not stronger or faster than other creatures, but we are more intelligent. According to the report of a Press agency, Sunak said : AI could make it easier to develop chemical or biological weapons But he also mentioned that there is a risk that humanity could lose control of AI.
