Why did kalki leave ‘X’?
Taking to her Instagram account, the ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ actress wrote, “I had to do this today. The hate and disinformation, the doom scrolling, the helplessness. But what really crossed the line for me—what really made me draw a boundary—was the denial or justification of Palestinian children murdered in the thousands or the denial or glorification of Israeli women being raped, tortured, and murdered. I have had enough.”
Justifying the cause, kalki Koechlin said it was misinformation on the Palestine and Israel situation on the micro-blogging site that prompted her to delete the account.
Kalki used to post frequently on her ‘X’ handle about the Israel-Palestine war. During the war, a lot of negativity spread around the social media. Many global celebrities and big personalities have spoken about this issue and expressed their feelings. While other Bollywood celebrities did not care anything about it, Kalki protested about it.
Due to the spread of hate and negativity, actress Kalki Koechlin has decided to delete her ‘X’ account. She revealed that she deleted her ‘X’ account due to overwhelming misinformation and hate speech regarding the Israeli-Palestinian war that left 15500 Palestinians and 1500 Israelis dead.

She posted on her social media account using several hashtags related to the Palestinian-Israeli crisis to get public opinion.
Her decision received mixed reactions. Actress Sayani Gupta applauded her decision. She commented, “Oh man. absolutely! There is no nuance anymore! It’s all about polarization.”
An user commented, “Thank you for being one of the few Bollywood celebrities to speak out for the cause of Palestine.”
Another emphasized, “We see you with your both sides and casual validation of rumors of Israeli propaganda. After all this time, you’re getting your information, not even from a single Palestinian source.”
