PSG won the Ligue 1 after beating Monaco by 3-2 at Olympique Lyonnais on Sunday for the 12th time in a row as Monaco finished second in the points table.

Earlier, PSG had the opportunity to secure the title but unfortunately, they drew with Le Havre, 3-3. Le Havre have 70 points with 3 games remaining 12 points ahead of Monaco

Monaco’s first loss was to Lyon which was their first defeat in 9 games and also the PSG’s dominance in world football continues. Wissam Ben Yedder gave the lead to Monaco when it was 20 minutes in the clock with a beautiful cross from Takumi Minamino. But within 25 minutes the goals from Alexandre Lacazette and Said Benrahma makes the scoreline 2-1.

PSG Manager Louis Enrique

Though the PSG manager Luis Enrique is confident and he said that their superior goal difference becomes an important factor for their team and it would be helpful for their team.

“We are champions and I do not care if there is a party or not” – the coach said – “We have a goal difference of 29 plus on the second place and I already feel like champions. Even if we do not score any more points, we will be champions.”

The prediction of the Spaniard proved accurate, as PSG secured their 10th title in 12 sessions though they have one game left which is irrelevant.
