Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the ‘Mera yuva Bharat’ (‘MY Bharat’) platform for youths and laid an e-foundation stone of ‘Amrit Mahotsav Smarak’ and ‘Amrit Vatika’on 31 October, in New Delhi. ‘Mera yuva Bharat’ is a platform , specially designed for youth of the country .The portal was inseminated at a ceremony marking the end of the ‘Meri Mati Mera Desh’ campaign’s Amrit Kalash Yatra at Kartvya Path in New Delhi on Tuesday, along with the closing ceremony of the ‘Azadi Ka Amrita Mohotsav’.
Union Ministers Amit Shah, Anurag Thakur, G. Kishan Reddy Arjun Ram Meghwal, Meenakashi Lekhi and Nisith Pramanik were also present there . Modi and other leaders, along with the audience, also took the ‘Panch Pran’ pledge.
Various artist from the whole country performed during the event .Then a grand performance of Singer kailash kher made the event more special.
Union Minister Piyush Goyal, BJP National President JP Nadda attended the event.
Before the launch,Prime Minister Narendra Modi imparted soil (mitti) into the Amrit Kalash and applied auspicious ’tilak’ on his forehead . From Srinagar to Tirunelveli and from Sikkim to Surat, colours and soils of India merged on the Kartavya Path while people were hailing from various parts of India , dressed in traditional attire to celebrate the ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ campaign.
After the laying of the e-foundation stone of the Amrit Vatika and Amrit Mahotsav Smarak , a small video was played by showcasing the proposed memorial and garden. It was a digital version . The video showed that the garden memorial will be dedicated to the scarifies made by the freedom fighters and bravehearts of the nation.
At this event ,Modi recalled about ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mohotsav’ which was began in March 2021. The ‘Azadi Ka Amrita Mohotsav’ was such a massive turnout. Modi presented Azadi Ka Amrit Mohotsav awards to top-performing states and union territories .
The three states that won the award were Jammu(1st) and Kashmir(2nd), Gujarat and Haryana and Rajashthan(joint 3rd place) .

•According to Union culture ministry, Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat) is an autonomous technology-driven body that will help set the focus of the government on youth-led development. It will also make the youths “active drivers” of development of the country.
•Modi said that ‘MY Bharat’ platform will play a pivotal role in nation-building. He lauded the collective strength of Indian youth and praised the ‘Meri Maati, Mera Desh’ as an example of how the youth can organise and achieve their goals. Modi also mentioned the upcoming Amrit Vatika, which will be created with saplings from across the country.
•He also stated that it’s not the first time the country has come together to contribute soil for a purpose .
•Then he cited the ‘Jan, Janani, Janmabhoomi’ artwork in the New Parliament Building, crafted by 75 women artists using soil from all states of the country.
• It will work for the youth in the age group of 15-29 years.
•youth of India can connect with programs, mentors, and their local communities through this great platform.
OBJECTIVES
According to PIB, The goals of ‘MY Bharat’ will be :
1. Better alignment between youth aspirations and community needs
2. Creation of a central youth database.
3. Improvement of two-way communication to link youth with government and activities of other stakeholders involved with youth.
4. Enhancement of efficiency through Convergence of existing programmes.
5. Fixation of accessibility by creating a physical ecosystem – a blend of physical and digital experiences.
6.A platform for one-stop shop for young people and Ministries.
PM modi said, “MY Bharat’ will play a big role in nation-building in the 21st century.”
