Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya is going to be inaugurated on 22 January with only a few days are left for this special ceremony. Meanwhile, the star cast of the famous TV show Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayana, actors Arun Govil, Deepika Chikhalia and Sunil Lahiri, who played the roles of Ram-Sita and Laxman, reached Ayodhya yesterday i.e. on January 17.
Actors Arun Govil, Sunil Lahiri, and Deepika Chikhalia, known for Ramand Sagar’s epic mythological serial ‘Ramayan’, visited Ayodhya to shoot their album ‘Hamare Ram Aayenge’. While talking to mediapersons at an event in Ayodhya, Arun, who played the character of Lord Ram shared his thoughts regarding the Pran Pratistha Mahotsav of Lord Ram.
Ram Temple is Rashtra Mandir
Arun Govil said, “Ayodhya’s Ram temple will prove to be our ‘Rashtra Mandir.’ The culture that had faded in the last few years across the world, this temple will again send a message that will strengthen our culture. It is a heritage that will be known to the whole world, this temple will be a source of inspiration, it is the centre of our faith, it will be our pride, it will become our identity. Our morals should be adopted by all.”
Sunil Lahiri, who played the role of Laxman, said, “I am very fortunate to be attending the Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav, I am getting a chance to know what I did not know, the atmosphere created in the country is very religious and is very positive and it will give a very positive feeling to the world”
Locals welcome Ramayan’s Cast
When Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayana Ram, i.e., Arun Govil reached there, people welcomed him by garlanding him and showering flowers. The people present there touched his feet and took blessings. After reaching the airport, he left for the temple complex. People are reacting to Arun Govil’s video on social media. One user wrote – Ram has reached Ayodhya by boarding a plane. Arun Govil said, “Ram temple of Ayodhya will be our national temple”.

Later Deepika Chikhalia said, who played the role of Sita jee, said, ‘Our image has settled in the hearts of people. I don’t think there will be any change in it even after the construction of Ram temple. He said that we will always receive love like this.
PM issues “Dak Ticket” on Ram Temple
There is an atmosphere of joy in the entire country regarding the inauguration program of the Ram temple which has been prepared in Ayodhya. Preparations are being made to make this program special. Prime Minister Narendra Modi released commemorative postage stamps on Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple and a book of stamps issued on Lord Ram across the world.
PM Modi released a total of 6 tickets, which include tickets for Ram Temple, Lord Ganesha, Lord Hanuman, Jatayu, Kevatraj and Maa Shabari. The stamps depict figures of Ram Temple, Chaupai ‘Mangal Bhawan Amangal Hari’, Sun, Saryu River and statues in and around the temple.
