Seats have been divided in NDA for the Lok Sabha elections in Bihar. BJP will contest elections on 17 seats and JDU on 16 seats. At the same time, Chirag Paswan’s party LJP (R) has got 5 seats, Jitan Ram Manjhi’s party HAM and Upendra Kushwaha’s party RLM have got 1 seat each.
NDA in Bihar
Five parties have been given place in Bihar NDA. Chirag Paswan’s party has got 5 seats, Jitan Ram Manjhi’s party has got one seat and Upendra Kushwaha’s party has also got one seat.
Union Minister Pashupati Kumar Paras’s party has not been given a single seat by the NDA. After the long-running controversy regarding Hajipur seat, this seat has gone to Chirag Paswan’s account.
Upendra Kushwaha’s party also had to be satisfied with just one seat. Kushwaha’s demand was for 3 seats. In the 2014 elections, he got three seats while being in NDA. He joined the Grand Alliance in the 2019 elections. In the last election from Karakat seat, he had to face defeat from JDU candidate.
Pashupati Kumar Paras and Mukesh Sahni did not get place
Union Minister Pashupati Paras had been calling his party the real LJP for a long time. His demand was that he should be given 5 seats from NDA.
However, he was not given a single seat by the NDA. The buzz is that Pashupati Paras has been offered the post of Governor by BJP.
Mukesh Sahni was also said to be trying to get the seat from NDA for a long time. However, his VIP party could not enter the NDA. In the 2020 assembly elections, Mukesh Sahni’s party contested the elections in alliance with NDA.
However, a few days after the elections, their MLAs changed sides and joined BJP.

West Champaran, East Champaran, Aurangabad, Madhubani, Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, Maharajganj, Saran, Ujiarpur, Begusarai, Nawada, Patna Sahib, Patliputra, Arrah, Buxur, Sasaram and Araria.
JDU leader Sanjay Jha, who was present during this time, said that this time there is a one-sided election in Bihar and NDA will win all 40 seats. Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister of the state and BJP leader Samrat Chaudhary said that the target is to win 40 seats in Bihar.
These seats came to JDU’s account Balmiki Nagar, Sitamarhi, Jhanjharpur, Supaul, Kishanganj, Katihar, Purnia, Madhepura, Gopalganj, Siwan, Bhagalpur, Banka, Munger, Nalanda, Jehanabad and Shivhar.
Chirag Paswan’s party leader Raju Tiwari said, ‘After talks with the top leadership of BJP, we have got five seats. I want to assure that we will not only win all the five seats but will win all the 40 seats in Bihar.
Chirag Paswan will contest elections on five seats Vaishali, Hajipur, Samastipur, Khagaria and Jamui.
Uncle Paras vs Nephew Chirag in Bihar NDA
Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party (RLJP) President Pashupati Paras had resigned from the post of Union Minister after talks did not work out with the NDA regarding seat sharing before the Lok Sabha elections 2024, which was accepted by President Draupadi Murmu with immediate effect on Wednesday.
Along with this, the President has directed that Cabinet Minister Kiren Rijiju should be given the charge of the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, in addition to his existing portfolio.

In which Ram Vilas Paswan’s brother Pashupati Paras is leading RLJP and his son Chirag Paswan is leading LJP (Ram Vilas).
Chirag Paswan is going to contest the Lok Sabha elections from Hajipur in Bihar. Whereas his uncle is currently the MP from this Lok Sabha constituency. Pashupati Paras has claimed that he will also contest the Lok Sabha elections from Hajipur.
