The accident took place on November 30 during the shooting at the Golden Tobacco Factory located in Vile Parle, Mumbai.
According to sources, the actor was shooting for an action scene in Singham again at Mumbai Film City.
A member of the shooting set told Mid-Day that Director Rohit Shetty was shooting an action scene. There was a fight scene between Ajay Devgan and some goons. But one of them accidentally hit Ajay in the face. Ajay got injured in the side of the eye.
Everyone was shocked by such an accident. Director Rohit Shetty also rushed. Hopefully, the injury was not that serious.A direct hit to the eye would have increased the danger. Doctor came to the shooting floor. After resting for an hour, the actor started shooting again.
“He is mighty, He is power, He is danger, He is strength…Singham roar again,” wrote Ajay Devgn in a post addressed to God after escaping a major danger.
According to the source, the incident took place on the last day of shooting at this location. The shooting was scheduled to take place at Film City the next day. Meanwhile, Ajay had to take a break due to an injury. Ajay finished shooting that scene that night.
