Actor Taapsee Pannu has reportedly married to former Olympic medalist and Danish badminton player Mathias Boe. As per news reports, the couple tied the knot on March 23 in an intimate ceremony in Udaipur.
Taapsee Pannu has done impressive Telugu and Tamil films and she soon shifted her focus towards Hindi films.
Speaking about her relationship earlier, Taapsee had said, “I am with the same person (Mathias) since the past 10 years. I started acting 13 years back and I met him the year I was making my debut in Bollywood, and I have been with the same person since then. I have no thoughts of leaving him or being with anyone else because I am way too happy in the relationship (sic).”
The actress have had been in a relationship with Danish badminton player Mathias Boe and the duo got married on March 23rd in a private ceremony in Udaipur.
Taapsee and Mathias tied Knot as per media reports
According to a News18 Showsha report, the intimate wedding ceremony took place on March 23 in Udaipur, with only family members and close friends in attendance, including some of Taapsee’s colleagues from the film industry.
They are yet to issue an official statement and the pictures from the wedding are yet to be out.
Close family members and friends of Taapsee, Mathias were present for the wedding. The celebrations took place for three days in Udaipur.

Pavail shared a group picture where Taapsee’s sister Shagun Pannu, cousin Evania Pannu, close friend and actor Abhilash Thapliyal, and badminton player Chirag Shetty are seen all smiles. The cryptic caption ‘IYKYK (If You Know, You Know),’ followed by a comment from Abhilash, which read, ‘Congrats coach,’ fueled further speculation about the wedding.
Few of the close industry friends of Taapsee were present and they posted some of the clicks from the celebrations but Taapsee, Mathias weren’t seen.
Taapsee and Mathias met at the inaugural Indian Badminton League in 2013. Taapsee was last seen in SRK’s Dunki and she also featured in Shabaash Mithu, the biopic of cricketer Mithali Raj. She also turned producer with a film named Blurr. Taapsee is yet to announce her new film.
While the couple chose to keep their wedding a private affair, the pre-wedding festivities began on March 20, the report stated. The wedding ceremony itself was a blend of Sikh and Christian rituals, reflecting the couple’s diverse backgrounds.

Among the attendees were Taapsee’s Dobaaraa and Thappad co-star Pavail Gulati, writer Kanika Dhillon as well as close friend and director Anurag Kashyap.
Writer Kanika Dhillon, who has collaborated with Taapsee Pannu on Haseen Dillruba, Manmarziyaan and Dunki, also joined the celebrations with her husband, Himanshu Sharma. Kanika shared photos of herself in a pastel ensemble with the hashtag ‘#MereYaarKiShaadi,’ which is believed to be from Taapsee and Mathias’ wedding.
Abhilash Thapliyal shared a picture from the holi celebrations in which Taapsee and Mathias can be spotted. In the picture, their faces are smeared with colours. Sharing the picture, Abhilash wrote, “Hamari toh Holi.”
