“Well, symbolism is clear, and I don’t hide it. For a ruler, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to have space in his heart to allow the first traditional stone temple in this part of the region in the history of humanity, I think all of us need to join our hands and applaud the rulers and the leaders of this nation,” he said addressing a press conference in Abu Dhabi.
He added that this friendship, rooted in trust, transparency, and truth, has been instrumental in bringing this architectural marvel to life.
“So, the BAPS Hindu Mandir has been built because of the generosity of the rulers. And I also say because of the friendship that our honourable Prime Minister has been able to generate with the rulers, the leaders, through the trade, through the great events that have happened. It’s because of trust, transparency, and truth that this entire Mandir has been made,” he said.

PM Modi’s seventh visit to Gulf

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is starting his tour of the two most important countries of the Gulf, UAE and Qatar.
This is PM Modi’s seventh visit to UAE.  After this PM Modi will visit Qatar.  Qatar has released the former marines of India and immediately after this, PM Modi’s visit is being considered very important.
Earlier, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of the most important country of the Gulf, Saudi Arabia, had come on a state visit to India during the G-20 meeting.
Experts are linking the increasing competition among Gulf countries for friendship with India to the growing power of India.

Why India is essential for Gulf Friendship?

While talking to a media colleague, West Asian affairs expert Qamar Aga said that one of the biggest reasons for the increasing interest of Gulf countries in India is Indians.
About 75 lakh Indians work in the Gulf countries and every year about $40 billion of foreign exchange comes to India from here.  Apart from this, India’s trade with Gulf countries has reached 150 billion dollars which is continuously increasing.
A large section of these does business in Gulf countries.  The businesses of these Indians are quite big.  These people had demanded to build a temple in UAE for a long time.
This has now been completed by UAE.  Apart from this, there has been a very good relationship between India and the Gulf countries for thousands of years ago.
